29 CFR 1926.1412(d)(1)(x): The employer failed to inspect ground conditions around the equipment for proper support, including ground settling under and around outriggers/stabilizers and supporting foundations, ground water accumulation, or similar conditions: The employer is failing to protect employees from structural collapse or struck-by hazards associated with improper cribbing and dangerous ground conditions. This was most recently observed on or about October 14, 2019, at a jobsite located at 900 SW Lower Lake Road, St. Joseph, Missouri. The employer has employees operating and working in close proximity to the crane without having had a competent person ensure the stability of the ground conditions and proper use of equipment support, cribbing .
