29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about October 7, 2019, a flexible 240 volt cord was used as fixed wiring to power a welder. The cord was hardwired into an electrical panel and run underneath workstation tables.
