29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that was 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level was protected from falling by one or more of the following: Guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) This violation was observed on or about May 31, 2019, in the second level electrical storage area, the interior sections of the storage area had open ends that oversaw a storage closet. Guardrails were not erected on the open ends, exposing employees to the hazard of falls. b) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, on the Renegade Rapids Ride, guardrails were not provided to protect employees from the hazard of falls. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure guardrails are erected on the open ends of the second level storage area.
