29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(6)(i): Except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(7) and 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(8), the employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v): The employer does not ensure each container of hazardous chemicals present in the workplace, which include, but are not limited to the following, have a label, tag or mark with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v) and exposes employees to hazardous chemicals: a) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at an outdoor cylinder storage area near the maintenance building, a Helium (asphyxiant) compressed gas cylinder lacks an identity label and hazard warnings for its contents. b) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, by the back gate entrance, four (4), fifty-five (55) gallon metals drums of asphalt sealer (irritant) lacked identity labels and/or hazard warnings for their contents. c) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at a room of the overhaul shop, a container of pink liquid said to be catalyst (oxidizer) for fiberglass repair lacked an identity label and hazard warnings for its contents. d) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at a room of the overhaul shop, a black fifty-five (55) gallon drum of asphalt sealer (irritant) lacked hazard warnings for its contents. e) This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at the go carts garage, two clear plastic containers of motor oil (irritant) lacked identity and hazard warning labels for their contents. f) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, at the go carts garage, a clear plastic container of gasoline (flammable) lacked identity and hazard warning labeling for its contents. g) This violation was observed on or about June 3, 2019, at the south games store room, a red plastic container marked "Fog" lacked a hazard warning labeling for its contents. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure each container of hazardous chemicals in the work place have a label, tag or mark with the information required by 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(i) through 29 CFR 1910.1200(f)(1)(v)
