29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1): The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee was required to use the respirator in the workplace: a) 3 Terminal Road, New Brunswick, NJ - Tablet Press/Encapsulation Department/Warehouse The employer did not provide medical evaluations to employees required to wear N95 dust masks and full face respirators while performing work duties such as but not limited to adding powdered dietary supplement products to tablet press hoppers and cleaning coating pans with hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to caustic soda containing sodium hydroxide (98%). Condition observed on or about 3/15/19. WRITTEN ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
