29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement. Location - 189 Vassar Street, Cambridge, MA. Fourth floor (various locations on floor). On or about February 28, 2019, employees were exposed to protruding reinforcing steel in several locations on the fourth floor decking. G&C Concrete Construction, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.701(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1364723, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on February 12, 2019, with respect to a workplace located at 314 Main Street, Cambridge, MA.
