29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting: At 6240 McKissock Avenue, St. Louis, MO, specifically inside of the Bio Washer and Tub Washer Departments, the horizontal shaft powering the conveyor belt was inadequately guarded. The numerous openings in the belt directly in front of the shaft measured approximately 1" X 2" in size. The unguarded end of this conveyor system was approximately three feet above the concrete floor. This violation was noted on 10/16/18.
