29 CFR 1910.134(c)(2)(i): Respirator users were not provided with the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible: (a) On or about May 22, 2018, at the employer's property at 1000 Pelton Dr., Oak Creek, WI, 53154, employees were not provided the information contained in Appendix D to 29 CFR 1910.134 when the employer determined that any voluntary respirator use was permissible. Employees were instructed incorrectly by a shift supervisor that the use of tight-fitting disposable respirators was required, and were unaware of the risks that the voluntary use or respirators can cause. Workers were exposed to undue physiological and psychological stresses that may have put employees at risk of health effects.
