29 CFR 1926.62(g)(1): As interim protection for employees performing tasks as specified in paragraph (d)(2) of this section, the employer did not provide at no cost to the employee and assure that the employee uses appropriate protective work clothing and equipment that prevents contamination of the employee and the employee's garments such as, but not limited to, (i) coveralls or similar full-body clothing, and (ii) gloves, hats, and shoes or disposable shoe coverlets: a) Reptile house attic and habitat area - On or about 02/23/2018 - 03/24/2018, employees used power saws and jack-hammers to perform manual demolition of structures including benches, louvers, and rock features with lead content which ranged between 0.0091%-26.182% by weight and between 33.28ug/10cm2 - 2189ug/10cm2 surface concentration. The employer did not provide and assure the use of appropriate protective work clothing and equipment. Employees wore their street clothing while performing these tasks. NO ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED
