29 CFR 1910.1030(f)(3)(ii)(A): The post-exposure evaluation and follow-up of an exposure incident did not include testing the source individual's blood as soon as feasible and after consent was obtained in order to determine HBV and HIV infectivity or, in the alternative, the employer did not establish that legally required consent could not be obtained: a) Throughout the facility, on or about 4/4/18: The employer did not obtain testing of a source individual's blood following a dental assistant's needle stick on 1/25/18 and no documentation of consent or consent denial existed. b) Throughout the facility, on or about 4/4/18: The employer did not obtain testing of a source individual's blood following a dental assistant's needle stick on 3/7/18 and no documentation of consent or consent denial existed.
