29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: The employer is failing to train employees on the hazards associated with using and working with chemicals in the work place. The most recent occurrence was evident during the inspection conducted on February 14, 2018 at the facility located at 1001 Gallup Dr, Omaha, NE 68102. The employer has employees using various chemicals such as alcohol, silicone spray, acetone, spray paint, welding rods, WD-40, and cleaners when performing job related tasks related to general facility maintenance and document services.
