29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service and were placed in service when the examination showed condition(s) that would adversely affect the safety of the vehicle. Examinations were not made at least daily. Where industrial trucks are used on a round-the-clock basis, they were not examined after each shift: On or about November 30, 2017, inspection of the company's powered industrial vehicles (fork trucks, articulating lift, etc.) were not completed by operators prior to the vehicle being placed into service. Deficient equipment includes, but is not limited to, the company's Caterpillar: fork truck - model #DPL40, serial #03CM12967.
