29 CFR 1910.213(g)(3): Swing cutoff saw(s) were not provided with limit chains or other equally effective devices to prevent the saw from swinging beyond the front or back edges of the table, or beyond a forward position where the gullets of the lowest saw teeth would rise above the table top: (a) In the wood shop - On or about April 3, 2017, the Duncap & Shaffer swing cutoff saw was mounted over the top of the cutting table so the entire blade would swing completely above of the table top. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
