29 CFR 1910.1025(i)(4)(iv): Employees entering lunchroom facilities with protective work clothing or equipment were not required to remove surface lead dust by vacuuming, downdraft booth, or other cleaning methods. a) H Hansen Industries located on the Lewis J Kuber Barge docked at 600 Millard Avenue Oregon, OH, 43616, on or about March 24, 2017 the employer did not ensure that equipment such as work boots had surface lead dust removed by vacuuming or other cleaning methods prior to allowing employees enter the lunchroom facilities, exposing employees to cross contamination of lead. Exposure to lead can cause anemia, weakness, and kidney and brain damage.
