29 CFR 1910.1025(e)(1)(ii): For any employee who is exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit for 30 days or less per year, the employer did not implement any combination of engineering, work practice and respiratory controls to reduce and maintain employee exposure to or below 50 micrograms per cubic meter or less: On or about July 28, 2016, in the facility, an employee required to install lead-lined wood panels inside a mobile medical trailer was exposed to airborne lead at an 8-hour time-weighted average level of 54 micrograms per cubic meter of air, approximately 1.08 times the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air (8-hr TWA) during a 451 minute sampling period. Zero exposure assumed for the 29 minutes not sampled. The employer did not implement any combination of engineering, work practice and respiratory controls to reduce and maintain employee exposure to or below 50 micrograms per cubic meter or less.
