29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: (a) On or about March 29, 2016, and at times prior, the following flexible wiring was deficient due to inadequate strain relief at the terminal end. (1) In the Welding Area, two 220V flexible cords where they entered the wall mounted outlet. (2) In the Welding Area, one 220V flexible cord where it entered the 4x4 box used as an extension cord end. (3) In the Machining Room, near the garage door, the terminal end of the 110V yellow cord reel. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
