29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch: a. On January 12, 2016, in the mechanic shop of department 1, the tongue guard on the grinder is not adjusted within 1/4 inch of the wheel, exposing employees to a struck by hazard. b. On January 12, 2016, in the mechanic shop of department 2, the tongue guard on the Delta and Palmgren grinder is not adjusted within 1/4 inch of the wheel, exposing employees to a struck by hazard.
