29 CFR 1910.1000(a)(2): Employee(s) were exposed to an airborne concentration of Total Dust listed in Table Z-1 in excess of the 8 hour Time Weighted Average concentration of 15 mg/m3: a. At the work site, on July 21, 2015, an employee operating a Nordson Excel 2000 (Model No. N524) electrostatic powder coating spray booth was exposed to airborne powder coating dust at an 8-hour time-weighted average (TWA) of 27.0 mg/m3, approximately 1.8 times the permissible exposure limit (PEL) for particulates not otherwise regulated (PNOR), total dust fraction of 15 mg/m3. The exposure was derived from samples collected over a 464 minute period. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 16 minutes.
