29 CFR 1910.1001(j)(7)(iv): The employer did not provide, at no cost to employee(s) who perform housekeeping operations in an area that contains ACM or PACM, an asbestos awareness training course, which shall at a minimum contain the following elements health effects of asbestos, locations of ACM and PACM in the building/facility, recognition of ACM and PACM damage and deterioration, requirements in this standard relating to housekeeping, and proper response to fiber release episodes, to all employee(s) who perform housekeeping work in areas where ACM and/or PACM was present, at least annually for each employee a) Worksite - Custodial workers clean up floors and equipment surfaces throughout the facility in areas that have been identified as having asbestos containing materials. The employer did not provide an asbestos awareness course; on or about 3/21/12. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
