Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 004A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a.) Viking Tool & Gage, Inc. 11210 State Highway 18 Conneaut Lake, PA 16316: on or about 12-05-2024, and times prior thereto: Employees perform servicing and maintenance on equipment including, but not limited to, the Bliss 60-ton press machine #PN21 in the Stamping Area without periodic inspections of energy control procedures occurring or being certified. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
