29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): a. Manufactured Housing Enterprises, Inc., at a worksite located at 09302 US HWY Bryan, Ohio 43506: On or about May 1, 2024, the employer did not ensure that a hazard assessment identifying and selecting appropriate personal protective equipment was conducted prior to the performance of construction tasks. Employees tasked with operating pneumatic nailers/staplers, radial arm saws and table saws without the benefit of an employer assessment were exposed to eye, head, and bodily injuries.
