29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2):The employer did not verify that the required workplace hazard assessment has been performed through a written certification that identifies the workplace evaluated, the person certifying that the evaluation has been performed, the date(s) of the hazard assessment, and, which identifies the document as a certification of hazard assessment: a) Plating Room: On March 27, 2024 and prior to; employees involved with the electrochemical plating process are using and exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to; chromic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, boric acid, and lacquer during the preparation of metal parts involves preparing solutions, plating station set-up, dipping, and drying. b) Main Shop: On March 27, 2024 and prior to; employees involved with the electrochemical plating process are using and exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to; chromic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, boric acid, and lacquer during the preparation of metal parts involves cutting, grinding, and polishing. c) Polishing Room: On March 27, 2024 and prior to; employees involved with the electrochemical plating process are using and exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to; chromic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, boric acid, and lacquer during the preparation of metal parts involves grinding, and polishing. d) Chemical Storage Room: On March 27, 2024 and prior to; employees involved with the electrochemical plating process are using and exposed to hazardous chemicals including but not limited to; chromic acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, boric acid, and lacquer during the handling and storage of hazardous materials involves segregation, spill containment, and movement of materials.
