29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: a. On or about 19 April 2023, at Panamerican Dock II, San Juan, PR, the employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program and training was not provided to longshoring employees on the hazards of exposure to carbon monoxide during RO/RO (roll-on/roll-off) operations while removing cars from inside vessel to marine terminal. NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
