29 CFR 1910.147(d)(1): The authorized employee did not have knowledge of the type and magnitude of the energy, the hazards of the energy to be controlled, and the method or means to control the energy before the authorized or affected employee turned off a machine or equipment: On or about April 8, 2023, at the Screw Conveyor, employees performing servicing or maintenance activities such as but not limited to replacing the screws on the auger were not familiar with the energy sources, the hazards associated with the energy sources, or the means to control the energy.
