Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 004A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (a) On or about February 24, 2023, within the fabrication department, employees working with K-grip, a methylene chloride based glue, are being exposed to a carcinogen on daily basis. The employer did not develop a written Hazard Communication/Globally Harmonized System (GHS) program, which would address labeling and other forms or warnings on hazardous material containers, Safety Data Sheets, and employee information and training on the hazards associated with the chemicals utilized on site, and is consistent with the GHS (29 CFR 1910.1200(a)(1)). The written program must also contain: 1. List of all hazardous materials on site using product identifier that is referenced on the Safety Data Sheet. 2. The methods the employer will use to inform employees of the hazards of non-routine tasks;
