29 CFR 1926.651(k)(1):Daily inspections of excavations, the adjacent areas, and protective systems were not made by a competent person for evidence of a situation that could have resulted in possible cave-ins, indications of failure of protective systems: a) 1670-1682 St. George Blvd, Billings, MT: On or about June 27, 2022, and at times prior, employees were exposed to cave in hazards while installing under ground utilities in a 7 foot deep unprotected trench that did not have a daily trench inspection conducted prior to the employees entering the trench.
