29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition. a.) Gasbarre Products, Inc.; on or about 5/5/2022 and at times prior thereto, Employees periodically operated a Hyster 70 forklift that had a damaged seatbelt system which prevented use of the seatbelt. b.) Gasbarre Products, Inc. Bay 2 area; on or about 5/5/2022 and at times prior thereto, employees operate a Hyster 70 propane forklift in various areas of the facility throughout each work shift. The tires on the powered industrial truck were damaged in that they were missing large chunks of tire material.
