29 CFR 1910.184(c)(9): Employees were not kept clear of suspended loads: (a) Building 1, Truck Body Powder Coat Booths 1 and 2 - Each paint booth had a hand-pushed overhead trolley conveyor for moving truck bodies through each booth and for suspending the truck bodies while employees hand-sprayed powder coating onto the bodies. Employees went underneath each truck body, suspended by alloy steel chains, to spray the body's underside, exposing employees to a struck-by hazard while working under the suspended load, on or about March 8, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
