29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Schweitzer-Mauduit International Inc., 601 Industrial Road, Middletown, DE 19709 (DELNET LINE 1 ): On or about February 14,2022, and other various days before, The employer failed to provide the required level of guarding to protect its employees from ingoing nip points and other rotating parts while conducting normal operations at the ER/CR Pumps, the ER/CR roll Drive Gears, and the Tenter Exit on Line 1.
