29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(i)(A): Periodic and regular inspections of each power press were not conducted to ensure that all of its parts, auxiliary equipment, and safeguards, including clutch/brake mechanism, antirepeat feature, and single-stroke mechanism, are in safe operating condition and adjustment: On or about September 14, 2021, and October 7, 2021, employees exposed to potential amputation hazards from the daily operation of mechanical power presses within the facility, and the employer did not conduct periodic and regular inspections of each power press to ensure that all of its parts, auxiliary equipment, and safeguards, including the clutch/brake mechanism, antirepeat feature, and single-stroke mechanism, are in safe operating condition and adjustment.
