29 CFR 1910.502(l)(4)(iii)(A)(1): When the employer was required to notify, in accordance with paragraph (l)(3)(i)(A), the employee of close contact in the workplace to a person who is COVID-19 positive, the employer did not keep the employee removed for 14 days. a) AMITA Alexian Brothers Medical Center located at 800 Biesterfield Rd. in Elk Grove Village, IL 60007: On or about August 12, 2021, the employer failed to keep employees removed for 14 days when they had close contact to a COVID-19 positive person when working in the Sterile Processing Department. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
