29 CFR 1910.37(a)(1): Exit routes shall not have flammable, explosive, combustible gases or flammable furnishings stored in the exit route. The back of the warehouse: An emergency exit route was arranged so that employees pass directly through the forklift battery charging station, exposing employees to hazards from hydrogen gas which can be released during charging of forklift batteries.
