29 CFR 1910.1026(l)(1)(iii): The employer did not include chromium (VI) in the hazard communication program established to comply with the HCS (� 1910.1200); did not ensure that each employee has access to labels on containers of chromium (VI) and to safety data sheets; and that each employee was trained in accordance with the requirements of HCS and paragraph (l)(2) of this section: a) Building 11: On or about April 28, 2021, employees performing electroplating with a dip tank of hexavalent chromium (Cr6+) compounds, located in the CAD Plating Shop of building 11, were not provided with general information regarding the physical and health hazards of the chemical in the tank. Additional Cr6+ exposures during the cadmium plating process had not been reviewed with employees. Employees were unaware of the hazards of the chemicals they were handling while performing their duties, and had not been provided adequate training on these exposures or the requirements and purpose of the Hexavalent Chromium Standard. b) Building 2: On or about May 03, 2021 employees working in the Etch Line Room, Paint Shop Room, and Sanding Room were unaware that the products they used during mixing, prep, and painting operations were Cr6+ containing. The employer did not ensure that employees were aware of the required control measures and the adverse effects associated with exposures to this carcinogen.
