29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(iii): The safety monitor was not on the same walking/working surface and within visual sighting distance of the employee being monitored. On or about April 6th, 2020, and at times prior thereto, the fall protection safety monitor for demolition activities was on the ground while employees were still on the roof, exposing employees to the hazard of falling from height.
