29 CFR 1910.28(b)(5)(i): (i) The employer must ensure each employee on a runway or similar walkway is protected from falling 4 feet (1.2 m) or more to a lower level by a guardrail system. East overhead loadout bins No. 8 and No. 9, roof inspection holes' platform: on or about April 1, 2020, the employer failed to ensure that a guardrail system was erected on the north side of the platform. Employees walking on the platform to take bin inventory measurements were exposed to 23 foot fall hazard likely to result in death or serious injury. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
