29 CFR 1910.184(e)(1): Sling identification. Alloy steel chain slings shall have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity, and reach. a) On or about 12/18/2019 the employer did not ensure that the alloy steel chain slings had a readable permanently affixed tag. Employees were using chain slings with no rated capacity to offload metal parts.
