29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service and were placed in service when the examination showed condition(s) that would adversely affect the safety of the vehicle. Examinations were not made at least daily. Where industrial trucks are used on a round-the-clock basis, they were not examined after each shift. a) 425 Beaver Valley Road, Wilmington, DE: On or about April 25, 2019, the employer did not ensure each forklift, to include a Komatsu with damaged windows and brakes, and a Yale, were inspected daily prior to use.
