29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: The employer does not ensure periodic inspection of the energy control procedure are conducted at least annually. This violation was observed on or about January 16, 2019, in the facility, employees conduct maintenance on equipment with energy control procedures that have not been inspected to ensure the requirement of this standard were being followed, exposing employees to caught-in and struck-by hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure periodic inspection of the energy control procedures are conducted at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed.
