29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At 6240 McKissock Avenue, St. Louis, MO, on 10/16/18, specifically inside of the Bio Area and Maintenance Shop respectively, the end of the conveyor system was unguarded exposing employee(s) to the hazard of an in-running nip point. The rotating parts belonging to a Ryobi Drilling Machine, m/n DP120, s/n C041000073, were unguarded. This violation was noted on 10/16/18.
