29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: a) On or about 3/21/2018, Gluing Area: Employees exposed to un insulated steam lines were not provided with hand and arm protection to protect against burns. Note: Insulating the steam lines would abate this instance. b) On or about 3/21/2018, Molding Press Area: Employees hand trimming with knifes were not provided with appropriate hand protection. Abatement certification is required for these items.
