29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): At this oil and gas waste treatment and disposal facility, employees were exposed to hazards such as, but not limited to, struck-by, caught-in/between, hazardous energies, eye and hand burns, chemicals and materials. The employer did not assess and evaluated the workplace for health and safety hazards that require personal protective equipment.
