OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): OSH ACT of 1970 SECTION (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to struck by hazards. The monorail, underhung cranes at machines 1 and 2: On or about September 18, 2017, the monorail underhung cranes were not inspected as required. Specifically the chains and hooks on the cranes were not inspected to check for stretching of the chain or the throat of the hooks for deformities.
