29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, were not rigged such that an employee could not free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m) nor contact any lower level: a) South side of roof, east end, on or about 7-20-17: Four employees were working at the edge of a barrel roof, with a personal fall arrest system that was rigged such that an employee could fall more than 6 feet and/or could make contact with the ground 26 feet 3 inches below. b) South side of roof, west end, on or about 7-20-17: Four employees were working at the edge of a barrel roof, with a personal fall arrest system that was rigged such that an employee could fall more than 6 feet and/or could make contact with a roof 10 feet 8 inches below.
