29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. Location: 9 Norwalk Avenue, Westport, CT 06880 The two employees performing work on a carpenter bracket scaffold were not trained by a qualified person in the appropriate subject matter to be able to recognized hazards associated with carpenter bracket scaffolds and know the procedures to use to control, minimize and/or eliminate those hazards.
