29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: Employees were exposed to the hazards of smoke inhalation and burns because: a. while working in the Grandview Outlet because the emergency exit located on the north wall of the Work Room contained a locking device that restricted emergency use, such as a bungee cord. b. while working in the Grandview Outlet because the emergency exit located in the northeast wall of the Store Room contained a locking device that restricted emergency use, such as a slide blot. c. while working in the Grandview Outlet because the emergency exit located on the north wall of the Dock/Stock Room contained a locking device that restricted emergency use, such as a deadbolt. d. while working in the Home Center because the emergency exit located on the east wall of the Stock Room contained a locking device that restricted emergency use, such as a metal bar.
