29 CFR 1910.266(h)(1)(vi): Each danger tree, including lodged trees and snags, were not felled or removed using mechanical or other techniques that minimize employee exposure before work is commenced in the area of the danger tree. a.) Lamberts Tree Removal, LLC., Sullivan Camp WV: On or about 08/26/15, a 5" diameter oak tree, approximately 50' in height, with a hollow, rotted base and no leaves, was not removed prior to allowing employees to conduct felling operations in the area. ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION IS REQUIRED.
