29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a) Worksite, North Employees were conducting masonry activity on a fabricated frame scaffold system. The employees did not understand the hazards associated with work on scaffold systems or the means by which to minimize such hazards; on, or about, 10/02/2014. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
