29 CFR 1910.219(c)(2)(i): All exposed part(s) of horizontal shafting seven (7) feet or less from floor or working platform were not protected by stationary casing(s) enclosing shafting completely or by trough(s) enclosing sides and top or sides and bottom of shafting. On or about August 27,2014 in the Chucker area, employees working in and around the machines with unguarded rotating shafts less than seven feet above the finished floor were exposed to a caught hazard: a. Davenport, the rotating shaft on the CNC was uncovered, exposing employees working in the area to a caught-by hazard. b. DP#4, the rotating shaft on the CNC was uncovered, exposing employees working in the area to a caught-by hazard. c. Browns CNC machine, the rotating shaft on the CNC was uncovered, exposing employees working in the area to a caught-by hazard. d. E#18, the rotating shaft on the CNC was uncovered, exposing employees working in the area to a caught-by hazard. e.
