29 CFR 1926.25(a): During the course of construction, alteration, or repairs, debris was not kept cleared from work areas, passageways, and stairs, in and around buildings or other structures At the job site of 5056 N. Lycee, Bel Aire, Kansas, LMT Construction employees engaged in attaching new doors, windows, and siding to the exterior of the apartment complex were exposed to slips, trips, and falls. The work area was not kept free of debris that included 2x4 boards, nails, plywood, siding, plastic, empty drinking bottles and other miscellaneous trash: a) on the balcony level of the east building complex b) on the ground level all around the east building complex
