29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(i): When a powered industrial truck was left unattended, load engaging means were not fully lowered, controls shall be neutralized, power shall be shut off, and brakes set: On the warehouse dock on or about March 5, 2014, the tines were not lowered all the way to the floor on a Towmotor forklift, model number TGP25. The tines of the forklift were about 4 to 7 inches above the floor. The operator of the lift was not within 25 feet of the lift as he was inside the warehouse. The warehouse manager said the forklift was used to move pallets of decorative items for the hotel rooms.
